Thanasi Kokkinakis was sent crashing out of Queen’s Club by ruthless Russian Danill Medvedev 6-2 6-2 in less than an hour on Thursday.

Kokkinakis secured the biggest win of his career on Tuesday by beating world No.6 Milos Raonic but struggled to replicate that form against the talented Medvedev, who is ranked 60th in the ATP standings.

Kokkinakis followed Jordan Thompson out of the tournament; earlier on Thursday the lucky loser fell in three tightly-contested sets to former Queen’s winner Sam Querrey.
