Milos Raonic Cuts Ties with Carlos Moya

ATP World No. 3 Milos Raonic has cut ties with his coach Carlos Moya.

Raonic posted the news on his Instagram account, thanking former World No. 1 Moya for his help.

Thank you to Carlos Moya for helping me tremendously this year, alongside my team, to get the best out of me. Under Carlos’ direction and tutelage I have played my best yet to date. We will no longer be continuing our coaching relationship but remain close friends. I wish him all the best.

Moya began coaching Raonic in January 2016. Seven-time Grand Slam winner John McEnroe joined the coaching team in June, which included Moya and Riccardo Piatti, but ended the relationship in August.

It’s not clear if Piatti will remain as the Wimbledon Runner-up’s coach.
